Bruteforcers arent client specific. A bruteforce can be used for anything. And no, you cannot insert lint into a non-physical object.

brute force is indeed possible but seriously why bother? do you have any idea how large your internet bill would be just to crack a single password?(i believe sausage did the calculations once). It was like a terabyte+
